So a miracle happened at the Johnson house… I got time to sit down and play a video game!
But then updating happened… and load times and download times. So much for that idea!
I miss the days of just putting in a game and playing it. No updates to download, no screw-ups to fix, just a game contained within a cartridge or disc and that’s it. You pop the game in, you start playing the game.
Now we also have two disc games that come out and you have to download the contents of disc one onto your system so that you can play the game on Disc 2. What is that? Why do they do that?
What do you think about the inconvenience of long updates and downloads with modern gaming? Do you just want to play the game as is? Let me know what you think!
