GameOn Unboxing – Retro Game Treasure – March 2016

We’re playing catch-up with games to play!

We’ve got a quite a few Retro Game Treasure chests to bring your way, so lets get to it!

Back in March, we got an interesting mix of games, including one of the best superhero games from the Nintendo 64 and a game that will make you nostalgic for the late 90s and early 2000s.

Lets go on a Legendary Journey with the Retro Game Treasure Chest!

Jeff’s Gaming Journal – Unfabulous

Now we’re in the dregs… Unfabulous, a game made for children that shouldn’t be played by anybody!

I’m not going to talk much about this game… Plenty of text, ugly characters, tacked on mini-games. It really is not worth your time if you are looking for a game for your kids.

Seriously, don’t!

Jeff’s Gaming Journal – Scooby-Doo! Mystery Mayhem

We’re looking at retro games on GameOnGNT again, as we take a look at another one of the games found in our Retro Game Treasure Chest from November.

Yes, we are still going through games that we received in November. This is a long haul we have here, but this one is worth discussing.

Today, we look at Scooby-Doo! Mystery Mayhem, a game I feel would be great for kids, but not good for the really young kids in your house.

Main reason…. reading!

Jeff’s Gaming Journal – Magical Tetris Challenge (N64)

Now here’s a game that’s great for the entire family!

In our November Retro Game Treasure Chest, which was catered to our three-year-old daughter, we got Magical Tetris Challenge. This game is something that everyone can enjoy and in my opinion, the perfect Tetris game for the Nintendo 64.

Forget Tetrisphere, this is the game you want to pick up if you are looking for a retro Tetris fix.

Best of all, you’ve got the Mickey Mouse gang as your main characters. Its great, its absolutely great!

What do you think of Mickey Mouse games? Is there a game with Mickey Mouse that catches your attention and was memorable in your eyes?

What about Tetris? Who here doesn’t like this classic puzzle game?

Coming up next, we turn to Game Boy Advance games and we’ve got some Thoughts of the Day features coming your way!
